出离尘俗。即出离烦恼之尘垢。引申为出家之意。同义之语有远尘、离尘、出俗、离俗等。又如：愿遂出尘、意欲出尘、有出尘之志等语，皆表志在出家之意。与绝风尘、厌尘网、厌俗累、遁尘寰等词均有离俗尘而出家入道之意。［续高僧传卷二、宋高僧传卷五礼宗传］
