觉树

(一)又作佛树、道树。特指佛陀成道处之菩提树。因佛陀于摩揭陀国佛陀伽耶之毕波罗（梵pippala ）树下证悟菩提，故称其树为菩提树（梵bodhi -druma ）。（参阅‘菩提树’5208）

　(二)指功德善根。因功德善根可开发正觉，故以觉树譬喻之。
