又作梵释。指帝释与梵王。此二天王归依释迦牟尼佛，为经论中常见之守护神。观无量寿经（大一二·三四一中）：‘目连侍左，阿难在右，释、梵、护世诸天在虚空中，普雨天华，持用供养。’［无量寿经卷上、无量寿经义疏卷上、观经玄义分］
