离中知

为‘合中知’之对称。眼、耳、意三根唯取不至之境，不直接与对象接触，能于远离之某种对象发生作用，谓之离中知。眼能见远处之色，而对于眼中之药等则不能睹；耳能闻远处音声，逼近耳根者则不能闻。反之，根与境须直接接触，才能产生知觉，称为合中知。如鼻根之于香境，待香微接于鼻根，始能知觉；舌、身二根亦然。（参阅‘合中知’2265）
